The runway came alive at the spectacular Trident Hyderabad as the 72nd Miss World Top Model Competition took center stage, blending high fashion with purpose, identity, and the global spirit of Miss World.
Out of 108 dazzling contestants from around the globe, four continental winners were crowned during the evening, each securing a fast-track spot in the 72nd Miss World Festival Quarterfinals.

- Europe: Jasmine Gerhardt – Ireland
- Africa: Selma Kamanya – Namibia
- Asia & Oceania: Nandini Gupta – India
- Americas & Caribbean: Aurélie Joachim – Martinique Continental runners-up included Karen Jansen (Belgium), Fatoumata Coulibaly (Côte d’Ivoire), Sammi Anni (New Zealand), and Valeria Cannavò (Venezuela).The evening also celebrated the winners of the World Designer Award, honoring national identity and creativity through evening gown design:
- Americas & Caribbean: Valeria Pérez – Puerto Rico
- Africa: Zoalize van Rensburg – South Africa
- Europe: Yelyzaveta Melnychenko – Ukraine
- Asia & Oceania: Sammi Anni – New Zealand
Hosted by Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle, the Top Model event was more than a showcase of style, it was a celebration of confidence, culture, and unity.
The 108 delegates also wore designs by Archana Kochhar, celebrating Indian fashion and Telangana’s fabrics.
